I'm genuinely starting to lose my mind about this battery situation with my 2017 E-Class. About a month ago I started getting these intermittent warnings on the dash saying "battery low, start engine" even when I'd only been parked for a few hours. I took it to a local garage and they tested the battery and said it was fine, so I thought maybe it was just a glitch and ignored it. But then last week I went to the supermarket and came back to a car that wouldn't unlock with the key fob, I had to use the manual key and everything was completely dead inside. Got a jump start from a kind stranger and drove straight home, but I'm terrified to take it anywhere now because I never know when it's going to leave me stranded. The weird thing is, sometimes it starts perfectly fine with no issues at all, which makes me wonder if there's something more complex going on with the electrical system rather than just a simple dead battery.
