How the ABS Challenge Works
Triggering a Challenge:
When a pitch is called and looks questionable, a prompt appears on-screen. Press Down on the D-Pad immediately—within roughly two seconds of the umpire’s call—to start the review.
The Review Process:
Once triggered, an animated graphic shows the strike zone overlay and the pitch’s location. Even if a tiny part of the ball touches the zone, it counts as a strike. This visual helps you confirm whether the umpire got it right.
