When the China beta for ARC Raiders first went live, a lot of players jumped straight to one question: is this just a softer version of the game, or is there actually something new here? After a few hours in, it is pretty clear that it is not just a pure PvE sandbox. The setup is different, the pacing feels different, and some of the systems are built to make the early game far less brutal than most people expected. If you are already thinking about loadouts and early progression, even something like ARC Raiders BluePrints  starts to matter in a way it does not in a standard first-come, first-shot extraction run.
